Design Regina Update

Last October the city held a three-day session at Conexus Arts Centre to gather public input from Reginans about what planning and design priorities should be incorporated into the Official Community Plan that is being drafted to guide development in Regina over the next 20 years.

Now, the Design Regina Project Team is ready to unveil those strategic priorities. That will happen March 27 at Artesian on 13th (which is located a block west of Albert on 13th Ave.) One-hour long presentations will be held at noon, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. For more info on Design Regina, here’s a link to the website.

  1. Ok, public input,( or are these concepts written in stone?),on Regina’s ” strategic priorities ” are going to be held on 1 day at a coffee shop ?

    Could this get any lazier?
I bet CoR hires consultants for the consultants.

Seems kinda rushed too,5 months before an election.

  2. These are sessions for public information, not ‘public input’. And the Artesian is not a coffee shop, it is a multi-use cultural facility.

The City said they would come back to the public with the priorities in the spring, and that is what they are doing. See you there.

  3. Considering this is about design (albeit a different field of design), it’s nuts that they couldn’t see fit to come up with one for their website.

  4. Greg the not just a coffee shop is at what address? Being specific is good, and a public service.

Hi S. 7pm performance good with you?
