F.Y.I.

See they’ve started installing traffic lights on 11th Ave facing west between Albert and Broad in preparation for it being converted to two-way traffic later this year as part of the Downtown Neighbourhood Plan. I noticed that when I was out for a stroll this afternoon. I know it was windy, but jeez there sure was a lot of garbage blowing around.

  1. This is the worst city I’ve ever seen for loose litter. If you forget to take a plastic bag with you, when you go for a walk and see things that need to be picked up, never mind: a bag will blow your way shortly.

  2. We took a run out to Moose Jaw this morning to shop at Nutter’s and to visit the WD Museum with family. The ditches 5 miles east of MJ usually look like the approach to the landfill; today, they are comparatively immaculate. Either the community cleaned up, or all the crap blew to Regina.
