According to an e-mail sent out to all University of Regina students, the university and the Regina Fire Department will run some of the U of R’s staff through a series of “emergency training scenarios” this Sunday.
An example from the message:
One scenario exercise will entail a mock hazardous chemical leak and include the evacuation of the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport, including the fitness centre, Dr. Paul J. Schwann Centre and all offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, etc.
In other news, Contagion, an ensemble-cast flick about the big, dramatic spread of a virus, opened this past weekend.
