Mood Indigo

Tonight’s the last night of the 2014 Regina Folk Festival. If you’ve been able to make it out to some of the fine evening mainstage and daytime entertainment, hope you’ve been having a great time.

Here’s a heads up about a film that’s at the RPL Theatre Aug. 14-17. It’s by French director Michel Gondry, and concerns the romantic ups and downs of a pair of French couples named Colin and Chloe and Chick and Alise. The film takes its title from the Duke Ellington tune of the same name, and is very much in the surrealist vein of Gondry’s 2004 classic Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Mood Indigo screens Thursday Aug. 14 and Saturday Aug. 16 at 7 p.m., and Friday Aug. 15 and Sunday Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. Here’s the trailer:
