More Downtown Construction Coming

There’s been rumours about Harvard Developments erecting a companion office building to the FCC tower at Hamilton St. and 11th Ave. floating around for awhile now, and today an official announcement was made.

The new tower, which is slated to start construction in late 2013, will be built south of the existing tower (where the Green Spot Cafe and Hall & Rae clothing store are now), and plans call for it to be completed in 2015. In this Leader-Post report, Harvard spokesperson Rosanne Hill-Blaisdell says it will be built in the “spirit” of the Downtown Neighbourhood Plan. Whatever that means.

About Gregory Beatty

Greg Beatty is a crime-fighting shapeshifter who hatched from a mutagenic egg many decades ago. He likes sunny days, puppies and antique shoes. His favourite colour is not visible to your puny human eyes. He refuses to write a bio for this website and if that means Whitworth writes one for him, so be it.
