Olympic Update

I haven’t been following the Olympics much, outside of the Badmintongate scandal that The Current had a full segment on this morning, but I guess the Canadian Women’s Soccer team (pictured) beat the British Women’s team 2-0 (on their home turf, no less, with 28,000 rowdy fans in the stands) to advance to the semi-finals against the United States.

So congrats to them.

    If Regina only had a recycle-able stadium, that already exists, that had a proper futbol pitch / football field …

    Mmm, I think ‘gate & scandal, used simultaneous, is a redundancy. Tho, a great name for a pub: The ‘Gate ‘n Scandal.
