Dead Set On Living is the latest album by this Toronto-based hardcore band. Don’t know if it’s actually out yet, but if it isn’t, it will be shortly. Tonight Cancer Bats (that’s them pictured at left) are in town to play a show at the Exchange.

Sharing the bill are fellow hardcore acts Touche Amore, A Sight for Sewn Eyes, Strangers and Palms to the Sky. Doors are at 7 p.m., and tickets are $18.

To close, here’s the video for the Cancer Bats’ first single off Dead Set On Living “Old Blood”.

Another show that’s on tonight is at Creative City Centre. Edmonton singer-songwriter Colleen Brown is in town. Her most recent release was Foot In Heart which was distributed by a label run by Emm Gryner in 2010. The show goes at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $15. Here’s video from a few months ago of Brown and her band playing the song “Good Girls” on CBC Radio 2.
