Pick of the Day: Chic Gamine

This quintet, which consists of four women and one man, have been performing and recording since 2007. They’re based out of Manitoba, and play a mix of jazz, soul, doo-wop and R & B. They’ve played Regina a few times before as guests of the Regina Folk Festival, and tonight they’re in town to play another show at the Artesian on 13th (8 p.m., tickets $15 adv., and $20 door). According to a CBC profile I consulted, the group is touring in support of their new full-length City, City.
