Based in Los Angeles, this hard rock/metal band drew initial inspiration for its name from martial arts films. They’ve got four full-length albums to their credit, with the most recent (The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell) being released on July 30. It’s intended to be the first part of a double album, with the second part due out later this year.

Tonight Five Finger Death Punch is in town to play a show at Brandt Centre. Also on the bill are Escape the Fate, Miss May I and Gemini Syndrome. The show should get going at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are between $39.75 and $60.25.
