Pick of the Day: Katy Perry

Sold out in milliseconds at Brandt Centre, and I couldn’t even hazard a guess as to how many tickets could have been sold had the venue been bigger or Perry been in a position to add a second show. When the tour was first announced, Robyn was mentioned as a possible support act. But in Canada anyway, that job is being handled by Janelle Monae.

Not much else I can say. This is pretty much terra incognito for me. Here’s the video for Perry’s recent single “Teenage Dream”.

Also in town tonight, ex-Watchman/Thornley bassist Ken Tizzard is performing with the  Variety Show Players at the Exchange.
