Pick of the Day: Metal Alliance Tour

Back in mid-January, a Battle of the Bands was held at the Exchange to select a local metal act to open this powerhouse concert. Regina’s got some top-notch talent, so the competition was presumably intense. The three finalists were Numenon, Kelevra and Lest We Fail, with Kelevra emerging as the victor.

Headlining the bill is the California metal act Devildriver (pictured). Also scheduled to perform are The Faceless, Dying Fetus, Job for a Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood and Impending Doom. The show’s at the University of Regina’s Riddell Centre, and gets going at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $38.50.

To close, here’s the video for “Dead to Rights” off Devildriver’s 2011 album Beast.
