Pick of the Day: Red Hot Riot

No word yet on who the musical guest is, or if there will be any other special guests dropping by to test their performance chops at this monthly comedy/variety show. But since it’s taking place on Fathers’ Day I have a pretty good idea what the theme will be.

Red Hot Riot goes at the Artesian on 13th at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

To close, here’s an old-school paean to fatherhood in the form of the intro to the 1950s sitcom Father Knows Best

His favourite colour is not visible to your puny human eyes. He refuses to write a bio for this website and if that means Whitworth writes one for him, so be it.

  1. Who are the guests? Well, prairie dog-featured Graham Clark will be the special guest. Warren Bates who has also been in town for the Pile O Funny Bones Comedy Festival will also be on the show. And, if I’m not mistaken, Andy Shauf will be the musical guest.
