As devoted readers of prairie dog will know, we’re big fans of the Seattle alt-paper The Stranger. Based in a thriving liberal west coast city with a metro population of over three million, they have the luxury of doing stuff that we can only dream of.
I mention this now because this film, which screens at the RPL Theatre tonight at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m., is set in Seattle. What’s more, the plot actually revolves around three journalists at an alt-magazine who notice a classified ad in the paper one day from someone seeking an assistant to travel back in time with him and they decide to do a story on the person and their project.
