Pick of the Day (Tomorrow Edition): End: Civ

Inspired in part by the best-seller End Game by Derrick Jensen, this documentary by Franklin Lopez explores Western culture’s addiction to totalitarian violence and environmental despoilation in the furtherance of a corporate agenda that places profits before people.

End: Civ screens tomorrow night at the University of Regina (RIC 119) at 7 p.m. Admission is free. To give you a taste, here’s the trailer.

And if you’re looking for something to do tonight, local rocker Johnny Hatch is having a release party for his new CD Happiness Instead at O’Hanlon’s Pub.
