This alt-rock band hails from New York. Principal members include Nate Reuss (formerly of The Format), Andrew Dost (Anathallo) and Jack Anotoff (Steel Train). They’ve been together since 2008, and have two albums to their credit — Aim and Ignite (2009) and Some Nights (2012).

With the latter album, they made history of sorts when the first single “We Are Young” which features a guest appearance by Janelle Monae became the first alt-rock song to reach #1 on Billboard’s Top 100 since a 2008 song by Cold Play.
