Pick of the Day (Tomorrow Edition): Pass the Hat

Yeah, you could wait until Saturday and shell out your hard earned cash ($57.50, to be precise) to see Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall at Brandt Centre. Or you could drop by The Club tomorrow night at 8 p.m., and shell out whatever you feel like shelling out to see some fine local comedic talent in action. Your choice.

To close, here’s a link to the cover story James Brotheridge did last February about this modest little enterprise that has taken the stand-up comedy world by storm.

And like Scheherazade and her Arabian tales, I now have 1001 posts on Dog Blog.

  1. The live-comedy scene in Regina hasn’t been the same since Dan moved away.
    Dan Yates, I mean.

  2. Yates is back for one night only, this Friday at the Regina Civic Center! Or more accurately, at The Club. Go see ’em, Nick!

  3. Show starts at 9, but probably will not kick off until 930. If you make it by 10 there’s a good chance you’ll see Dan Yates and his incredible comedy machine.

  4. Additional Note: I also endorse people attending roller derby. I like to keep people up to date on my endorsements and endorsements of endorsements.
