Hailing from Brazil, Sepultura has been a force on the world death and thrash metal scene since the late 1980s. There’s been a few line-up changes along the way, with bassist Paulo Jr. being the longest serving member. Last March, the band released a new album called Kairos. They also broke in a new drummer (Eloy Casagrande).

Tuseday, Sepultura are playing a show with Death Angel, Krisiun and Havok at the Exchange. Doors are at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $33.

To close, here’s the video for the band’s 2007 song “Roots Bloody Roots”.
