Pick Of The Day (Tomorrow Edition): The Paperboy

Using figures provided by Rotten Tomatoes, you have the choice this weekend at the RPL Theatre of seeing flicks that garnered 39 and 33 per cent approval ratings. Thursday and Saturday at 9 p.m., and Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m., it’s The Paperboy. That’s the one where Nicole Kidman plays some aging dyed-blonde Southern sexpot with a fetish for felons. It scored the 39 rating.

The 33 rating belongs to Deadfall. It screens Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Friday and Sunday at 9 p.m. It’s about a brother and sister on the lam for Canada after a casino heist who are forced to split up when they get caught in a raging blizzard. The brother goes on a bit of a rampage, while the sister ends up getting picked up by an ex-boxer on his way home to share Thanksgiving with his parents. Pure potboilder, I know. But sis is played by Olivia Wilde so… here’s the trailers for both films, with Deadfall  after the jump:
