The Strumbellas

A six-piece alt country/indie rock band from Toronto, the Strumbellas  have been around since 2008.  They scored a major publicity boost earlier this year when they won a Juno Award for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year for their CD We Still Move On Dance Floors.

On Tuesday, the band’s in town to play a show at O’Hanlon’s Pub. It will be a free gig, and it should get going around 10 p.m. To give you a sense of what to expect, here’s the video for the second single off their Juno-winning album — a tune called “Sailing”:
