On Thursday, the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes’ future looked a little Winnipeggier after the City Of Glendale said it might need to find a minor league team to replace the ‘Yotes if a bond deal can’t raise the cash needed to finance the team’s purchase.
Meanwhile, the Winnipeg Free Press has a column on how the hypothetical Jets could realistically earn enough cash to place them in the top half of NHL teams.
