What’s For Lunch: Tabbouleh Pita

I haven’t been to Extreme Pita — or, actually any pita chain — in ages but I was in the Cornwall Centre food court today and felt pita-y. They’ve changed things since my last visit maybe a couple of years ago. Now they have tabbouleh! Tabbouleh! The Middle Eastern parsley salad is one of my favourite things but because I’m lazy I rarely make it*. I’d never had it in pitas. So today I ordered a pita with tabbouleh, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, feta cheese and Italian dressing. It was delicious!

I demand to know why restaurant reviewer Aidan Morgan kept Extreme Pita’s tabbouleh a secret from me in his recent food court review.

Anyway, that’s the story of what I had for lunch today. Hooray for tabbouleh! Let us celebrate with a song!

*Actually I’ve never made it because I am lazy incarnate when it comes to making non-fried stuff to eat. But I think I’m going to start making tabbouleh. Because it is sooo great!
