It’s that time of year again, my prairie droogies dog readers. City hall is looking for people to sit on their little very important committees. And foolishly very cleverly and in the best interests of democracy, they’re letting anyone apply! anyone apply.

And it’s a long list of positions that are open this time around. Some real power very interesting opportunities in there ripe for the taking you could consider applying for. Think of all the diabolical schemes the worthwhile projects we you will impose on all these unsuspecting sheep could carry out!. (Muahahahahahaha!!) Golly!

Here are some highlights.

Accessibility advisory committee – 6 positions
Arts advisory committee – 2 positions
Board of police commissioners – 2 positions
Community services advisory committee – 5 positions
Environment advisory committee – 5 positions
Municipal heritage advisory committee – 3 positions
Regina planning commission – 4 positions
Regina public library board – 3 positions

By the way, I haven’t confirmed this yet, but I think those four open spots on the Regina Planning Commission are open to the public (the ones that were free previously were restricted to people involved in the development community). Getting on the RPC would be a great opportunity to enact some of our grand socialist schemes work very hard on some worthy projects for the city.

Think of the power! Seize city hall! It’s yours for the taking! So have a look and consider applying!

There’s more information over at the city’s website.
