Eskimos vs Riders: Post-Game

The best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men, gang aft agley

(Robert Burns, To A Mouse)

As has been noted previously on the blog, prairie dog has media accreditation with the Saskatchewan Roughriders this season. I was at last night’s exhibition game against the Edmonton Eskimos, and after conducting post-game interviews I intended to do a blog post on the outcome. Unfortunately, just before half-time I got called away to deal with a medical situation involving my dad that resulted in us spending the rest of the evening at the General Hospital emergency ward.

I learned later that the Riders defeated the Eskimos 23-22, but I didn’t get to see any of the second half or do any post-game interviews. Later today, once I’ve checked with my dad, who’s back home resting, I’ll post a few thoughts on the part of the game I was able to see.
