I never thought I’d find myself in agreement with Donald Trump and Sarah Palin, but when they met for lunch at a New York pizzeria during the latter’s much ballyhooed “One Nation” bus tour of famous U.S. heritage sites like Gettysburg and the Liberty Bell in Phily, they inhaled their ‘za with a knife and fork.

For doing so, they’ve been accused of being overly effete and precious and therefore un-American. But when I eat pizza I prefer to use a knife and fork too. Of course, being Canadian, I’m, by definition, un-American. So maybe critics are on to something with Caribou Barbie and the Trumpster.
