Every spring CAA Saskatchewan holds a contest where they invite drivers from across the province to submit nominations for the worst road in Saskatchewan. The contest usually attracts a fair bit of media attention, and perhaps even inspires the government with jurisdiction over the offending roadway to take action to improve driving conditions.
Pedestrians deserve the same consideration as motorists, right? So why not hold a worst sidewalk contest? In the area of Regina I frequent two nominees immediately spring to mind. I posted on one candidate last month. And above is a shot of another worthy nominee, which is located on the southwest corner of Hamilton St. & 12th Ave.
