Pick of the Day: Holy Grail

Not literally, of course. Or, at least, in the Arthurian sense of the word. Although I suspect that the music of this L.A. thrash quintet is fairly heavily influenced by medieval Celtic literature and lore.

Yeah, they could just be Monty Python fans. But when they first formed they were known as Sorcerer, so that pretty much cinches it in my mind.

Anyway, they’re headlining a metal blowout at the Exchange tonight that also includes Cauldron, Fifth Dawn and In Darkness. To get your neck muscles loosened up here’s video of Holy Grail performing “My Last Attack”.
