Starring Mads Mikkelsen, this is an historical drama set in 18th century Denmark. It was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at last February’s Oscars and scooped two awards at the Berlin International Film Festival. It concerns an affair between the British-born wife of King Christian VII and a court doctor who was treating the monarch for mental illness.
