The first two rounds in this contest were held at the Exchange on Jan. 20-21. The finals go tonight at the same venue. At stake is an opening slot in a show at Riddell Centre on March 29 that is being headlined by the California heavy metal band Devildriver (pictured), and also features sets by The Faceless, Dying Fetus, Job for a Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood and Impending Doom.
The three local bands in the running for the covetted slot are Numenon, Kelevra and Lest We Fail. May the best group of head-bangers win.
