Kittie have been around since 1996. The all-female heavy metal group first formed in London, Ont., but the band has gone through several personnel changes since then. Two sisters, Morgan (guitars, lead vocals) and Mercedes (drums) Lander form the core of the band, with Tara McLeod (guitar) and Ivana Vujic (bass).
Last August, Kittie released their sixth album titled I’ve Failed You. Tonight, they’re in town to play a show at the Exchange with the Agonist, Blackguard and Bonded By Blood (doors at 8 p.m., tickets $18).
