Pick of the Day: Library Voices/Rah Rah

Here’s a link to Stephen LaRose’s cover story in our July 2 issue on Regina band Rah Rah which is co-headlining a gig tonight at the Exchange with Library Voices. Both bands recently released well-received CDs (Denim on Denim for Library Voices, Breaking Hearts for Rah Rah). Since then, both bands have been touring extensively across Canada.

Rounding out the bill are Forest City Lovers and Andy Shauf. The show gets going at 8 p.m. Tix are $15, with proceeds going to the Exchange’s flood relief campaign. Here’s video from 2009 of Rah Rah doing their song “Tentacles”.

And for all the grey/no hairs out there, here’s video of the band that’s rocking Casino Regina tonight doing one of their biggest hits.
