If you haven’t spent months training for this annual marathon, I wouldn’t recommend rushing down to the T.C. Douglas Building this morning to try to register last-minute as you’d likely wilt after a few kilometres and have to slink off the course with your tail between your legs. So you better leave the running to the hardcore masochists who train regularly to run long distances. But if you want to show up and cheer people on, that’s probably something we could all safely do.

The heavy breathing starts at 8 a.m. For more info on the QCM visit www.runqcm.com
