Pick of the Day (Tomorrow Edition): Living Pictures

Sponsored by the Dunlop Art Gallery, Living Pictures is a fun outreach event that has been held in Victoria Park for three or four years now. What it involves is Regina artists and art lovers  recreating famous art works as living tableaux.

At left, for instance, is a recreation of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo’s Self-Portrait as a Tehuana (Diego on My Mind).

Set-up for Living Pictures begins Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m., with the display open from 4:30-6 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be held in nearby Knox Met Church. For more information call 777-6044.
