After tomorrow night, the Hot Blood Bombers will be no more.
The rock ‘n’ roll trio, who are at the very least in the top three Regina live acts, are splitting up, which is a damn shame.
The band put out Broke Travelling Hungry Love, their fifth release, not that long ago. You can read all about the album in the cover story we did on them at the time. Hungry Love showcased a lean band with perfectly-tuned rock muscles. I’m sad to hear we won’t get to see where they go from there.
Even better: don’t miss what might be the last two opportunities you’ll get to see this band. Their final show is tomorrow, July 16 at the Italian Club. If you’re checking out Handsome Furs tomorrow night, don’t fret. They’re doing the middle set tonight, July 15 at O’Hanlon’s.
