Along with another activity that we won’t get into here,  checking out live music is one of the popular ways of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. With most of the SPD-themed gigs that are happening in Regina in the next few days, Celtic music is the go-to option. But there is a metal SPD show happening on March 18 at the German Club, so that’s a little different.

Here’s a breakdown of shows that are happening in Regina to celebrate the Irish holiday.

ST. PADDY’S DAY with the Humdingers, an Irish pipe band, dancers and more at the Fat Badger.

THE CELTICALLY HIP at Capitol Jazz Club, 3 p.m.

St. PATRICK’S DAY PARTY with entertainment from the Regina Police Pipes & Drums, the Prairie Gael School of Irish Dance and Squeeze of Scotch at Bushwakker, $5 cover after 5 p.m.

St. PATRICK’S DAY with the Tilted Kilts at McNally’s Tavern.

THE BLAZERS at Cloud 9 Live.

JOHN MICHAEL LIND at Beer Bros., 8 p.m.

Friday 18

St. PADDY’S DAY BASH with the League of One, Furious George and Daytrip at the German Club. $10 advance, $12 door.

St. PATRICK’S DAY CONCERT with the Tilted Kilts presented by Regina Jazz Society at LeBistro, 8 p.m. Tickets range between $5 and $25 depending on your age and RJS affiliation.
